AFTER PROTOCOL back online ! was created by MetAssassina
Finally!
Thanks to Sir Paradox for the work!

For those who didn't try yet, unlike BP, AP have tons of bug fixed, lot of aspects are much more balanced. AP also have some more building and tech, in short : better, faster, stronger.

AP isn't a virgin galaxy, that's true but this mean you can buy stuff from existing players before having that tech, when you know some tech last year to reach...Also this mean more action, thrill ;)

You really must have a try,
See you in the dark.

Grats on getting this back online. At least with 2 pub servers we can have a bit of competition to drive innovation :)

Hi Elprey,

Competition can be productive but collaboration even more,
my personal experience is good with Sir P, he is friendly to me.
He was just busy and having hard times irl recently.

The best situation at my opinion would had been a full collaboration on same server (AP one) but of course this need you, your team and Sir P to all agree on this...and we know how geeks and gamers are easy egos always ready to make compromise ;))

Cheers.

Since 10h now server is off, Sir P is setting up a better HD
so the problem is not on your side, don't reinstall;)

I think that many new players like myself would enjoy the appeal of being able to play a new system with other new-ish players. The idea of joining AfterProtocol and being a noob at the whim of the long-time players is not a fun thought. I will certainly continue the direction of providing a fresh server.

I've let SirP know on our bp2 forum that if he wishes to release his code publicly on GitHub, we would be happy to contribute to his project, and make use of it for the Beyond Protocol 2 server. Bp2 could benefit from having more recent code, and his project can benefit from having more than a single developer working on it.

I hope SirP eventually relents, but right now he's being old and grumpy I think. I could be projecting, but I don't even think he would have brought back up his server if I hadn't revived BP. I question his commitment to the project and his playerbase as he has failed in the past to do a simple thing-- keep a server up. It cost 37 dollars a month to do so, there is no excuse!

AP server is back online,
register page will be fixed soon with website update to more recent phpN vers...
Meanwhile you still can ask directly to Sir P as explained above.

To answer you ElpPrey, time will tell...
But what I'm sure about is no newB will be at the whim of long-time player in AP,
for simple reason few actual long-term players all want new players to join
and if one powerful player try to ruin the game or don't allow new-players to grow,
he would have serious problems with the other long-time players.
Also newB could buy or receive enough help to manage.
