Major Armour BUG

Posting here as I dont get replies and it would be interesting to know how many empires have been crippled by this bug alone. I believe in debate and giving the devs an opportunity to convince me that this wont be occuring every month or two with no compensation - I mention compensation as the tech hasnt been boosted to account for lost time previously. I know in many games where items you find are expected and found by all as a consequence of completing an action. This is NOT the same in MMORTS where time and effort can bring about very different results from person to person. This does make time spent into an asset thta needs compensation - IN GAME where it will make a difference. Bad enough folks have huge advanatge over me atm down to my route manager being broken - so those with already huge assets continue to grow unimpeded whilst i have to handle every bit of minutia in my empire like a pre-beta player. Why cannot I enjoy the game same as others who also paid the same money?
That said - here is the impact of the armour bug - you wont know until u pay the money n make the armour so it can be put into trade to actually see how bad it is. I know a couple in the last few months mentioned this but its was either hushed up by the guild involved or the devs let it be swallowed in the support system - where nothing it seems returns.
I am shocked today to be told by Endstar that my newly designe armour is bugged with anold bug. Integrity doesnt show and only shows via the trade interface? Nowherehave i seen a warning about this bug and Im kinda mad - this on top of my broken route manager for two months. I spent 1.2 trill researching this, set it building overnight in about 5-6 production hubs and spent all day today refitting prototypes at cost. Then i built new ships which each showed a tripled combat rating. How pleased was I! Then i started building prototypes with components costing hundreds of billions in many hubs - and I built more in secondary hubs to share with guildies. Then endstar has alook and asks me to go check via trade window. Now I feel robbed. I easily spent 500 bill today as well as used up trillions worth of components for a bug you KNEW about.
Currently Known Issues
* Tradepost does not display a list of items for trade - This is caused by having too many different types of items in the colony. Reduce the number of components and minerals and the problem resolves itself. We are working on a fix for the problem.
* Budget window does not populate - Can be caused by having too many colonies or environments where you have assets. Reduce the number of colonies/individual environments to ~200. We are working on a fix for this issue.
Nowhere is this major bug mentioned! Now I dont wish to come on and have to deal with units - i can recycle planet side units but ive dispersed them - it will take all day! I cannot reclaim frigate or cruiser components and even if I could - i would have to do each one at a time alone. What do you suggest I do now? I wasnt here during the advent of common 1:30 armour so missed any debate at the time but this was pre august it seems.
The tripled Combat Rating is also an obviou sbug n probably being used to exploit along with the alternate accounts used for levelling up units with yourself. DSE should have implemented arenas and other ideas by now to make these exploits pointless. As some meerkats say - "Simple!"
Even while pissed at DSE and taking time off again - I can but try and offer a common sense alternative to another unannounced bug. Both of these need highlighting on client boot up AND in the relevant screens/areas. A workaround or date to be fixed should also be present at the same time. This is no less than i would expect of a developer.
As for the colony management window bug which drives me mad- can you not make the system list a drop down and make the window show system only info so only one system needs to be populated at one time - maybe offer this as an option in settings or have it kick in over 200 colonies automatically n revert when number reduced as the overall is desireable for new players n small empires. Dont leave a bug dealing with an issue- if you dont desire 300whatever+ colonies per empire - state that and hard limit it so it forms part of in game strat not an exterior soft cap.

Having realised from my guildies that you knew of this issue, I guess I just didnt put myself out even further to spell out the steps.
Let me see...
Ghosted the design of armour i wanted
made the alloys the indicated values wanted
redesigned the armour
inserted alloys
all indicators said fine
paid credits
waited
looked at design on every expected screen
Altered all my prototypes
Built stocks up
got told by Endstar that he had same issue a small while back and had submitted a support ticket.
After discussion it seems quite afew had encountered this issue
Submitted ticket
went to sleep
checked mail
No support reply confirming they were checking the issue
Posted on forum to gather some idea just how many have been caught up by this and if there was any compensation to be had.
Got a support reply via forum thus justifying posting.
Any better? The fact is if you dont roll with the justified critism of your support process you will be hung by it - bad support in a MMO is one of those pesky game killers I mentioned during beta. When i suggested a less open support system I did not envisage this absence of any reply and the impression it gives. The point was to hide more critical exploits whilst you had time to fix them - thus preventing others jumping in and - as we know now - keeping the benefits of the exploit once its fixed.
I was on the STO forums today and saw the hardcore trolling they are enduring to bring out a professional game title. Much of the critiques i agreed with but if you think this is rough I suggest you get out n look around more. We are not helpess customers Enoch - you want this game a success and so do I and many others actually playing and paying for it. DSE needs some customer relations help as this is no longer beta..

Atm I have little clue what is broken or working as intended - as everything I have seen and assumed to be broken the devs have - when they do reply - just reply That is working as intended - like you pointed out. Great tool dev side - really dubious from the player base point of view.
The bug is the unexpected lack of integrity indicator at a key point in design. You show me where it shows the integrity remaining at all times in the process and i will know what to look out for next time to indicate the client has broke. As far as i can see its mentioned that you should see it at the start and there is no real hard evidence it should be there after design and before you pay.
I know others have had this issue - politics, embaressment and plain strategy dont help clarify the numbers though. Maybe they thought, like ant, that it was a ingame intended slap for sloppy design - but its not. You can no longer even see the word integrity on the armour via any screen BAR the trade min stats window which shows the objects details after you finish researching it.
As too the support complaints - I too suggested quite amiably such a thing - simple auto-responder - maybe with a ticket number so you could refer to that from thereon. Like most support in games. My suggestion was primarily to stop the sudden rush to read and copy the exploit i saw many do during beta - a tendency I loathe. Folks who play vs the game and not within it have noone else to blame when the game gets discredited and hurt. Reputation matters not just too players in a MMO world.
That Mal, is a bug.

Fix it - compensate with free in game assets and lets move on to the budget window breaking please? Im asking you to replace some data your code took from me without warning or sense.

There will be no refund or compensation. When you design an armor that is too brittle, the armor designer displays "This armor is too brittle". When you submitted the research the first time, it displays the message. Thank you for reporting the issue to us.

You know this isnt true - and used it to lock the thread. At no point did it say this as others have attested on your own forum. Now answer here and lets get to the bottom of this bug...
