New Specials was created by Sniv
This is strictly new special suggestions that can be implemented within the current game mechanics. This allows for more design variations for new and older players and should balance or give new players options against end-game players
New AP Tech Specials: This is based off current game special information that can be implemented within current game structure. See Specials in research to see.
Projectile Weapons:
1. Projectile Weapon Miniaturization: Projectile Weapon Size Improve 2%
2. Improved Projectile Weapon Miniaturization: Projectile Weapon Size Improve 5%
3. Advanced Projectile Weapon Miniaturization: Projectile Weapon Size Improve 10%
4. Improved Projectile Weapon Coils: Projectile Power Reduced by 2%
5. Enhanced Projectile Weapon Coils: Projectile Power Reduced by 5%
6. Advanced Projectile Weapon Coils: Projectile Power Reduced by 10%
Reason for Projectile Updates: Allows for new technical variations. Power reduced is already applied to Pulse and Solid Beam Tech tree and Miniaturization is applied to Missile Tree
Pulse Weapons
1. Pulse Weapon Miniaturization: Pulse Weapon Size Improve 2%

Game Fix or Functionality
1. Radar
a. Warp Jamming: New Special – Destabilizes ships using warp (Note* Allows player to detect and give them a chance to defend)
b. Tachyon Detector: New Special – Destabilizes facilities, ground vehicles or ships using cloak (Note* This should allow the re-instatement of cloaking special under Top Secret tree) (Note* Allows player to detect and give them a chance to defend)
2. Missiles
a. Precision Missiles – Power: Functionality doesn’t work
b. Precision Missiles – Radar: Functionality doesn’t work
c. Precision Missiles – Shields: Functionality doesn’t work
d. Precision Missiles – Thrusts: Functionality doesn’t work
3. Hulls
a. Acid Resistant Habitats: Allows the building of habitats in acid using 100% Chemical Resistant Armor (Note* Anything less will cause building damage and destruction) (This is a risky build
b. Thermal Resistant Habitats: Allows the building of habitats in lava using 100% Thermal Resistant Armor (Note* Anything less will cause building damage and destruction)
4. Top Secret
a. Folded Space: Functionality – Ships need to use BG transit points (Note* Allows player to detect and give them a chance to defend)
b. Advanced PD Gun – has 50% chance to shoot bombs from sky (Note* Gives new player a chance to defend against bombardment only) (Note* Could be placed under projectiles) (This may not be doable under current game mechanics)
5. Miscellaneous
a. Chaotic Chemical Reactance: Functionality – Needs to be added to Payload Type menu in Bombs. Able to Design Chemical Bombs
b. Magnetic Field Eruptions: Functionality – Needs to be added to Payload Type menu to bombs. Able to design Magnetic Bombs
c. EMP Disruptor (Frigate Only): Functionality – Disrupts Planet shield when in range. Dependent on bomb or beam range

Sounds Great,
specially the aniti-warp radar function for SS.

Must take some times to think about the other proposition but the anti-warp radar for SS is a must, without this any SS are just easy targets.
Now question is : at what point this founction should work, disable 100% of warped units at the range of the function or less?

the warp jammer is for any space based object, can be placed in defense sats. The objective is a sepcial learned and gives you the ability to check it when developing a radar, similar to learning AOE Jammer. Warp Jammer is dependent on radar detection range only and the theory is radar detection has a new capability. SO if you max radar detection spec plus bonuses, you can prevent warp. Once out of radar detection range warp can be enabled. Warp jammer will effect everyone. The Tachyon Detector is the same principle but designed to disable cloak. If implemented, it will allow cloak to be put back into game

I also like these suggestions. I also think there should be some kind of stealth (available before cloaking) in the game. I'll probably write up a thread with my ideas for stealth soon if someone doesn't start the thread first.
